Jordan wasn't a complicated person. In fact, his current existence could be described in three words: nineteen, unemployed, and dead. Except somebody Up There had made an Almighty mess of things, and he was now stuck in the wrong universe in the body of a necromancer who was probably wanted for first degree homicide in several countries in addition to colluding with an Eldritch Deity of the Dark Forces. 

The Gods weren't being helpful, the magicians were too busy committing genocide amongst themselves, and the demons did as demons always do: which was was to point fingers, laugh, and throw popcorn at the metaphorical screen.

Jordan may not have a single clue on what the hell was happening, but he was determined to get to the bottom of this even if it killed him. Especially if it killed him.
