All it took was 10 glances. Ten glances and they had a mutual agreement. It took 10 days for them to become friends. It took 10 months to fall in love. It then took 10 seconds for him to realize it was all going to be okay. Ten years later they were 18. 10. It took 10 seconds and everyone he loved was dead. Ten seconds and he forgot everything. Everything except for the man with blue eyes... Virgil Sanders despised the number 10. To him, it was worst number ever. Why? Because it seemed to be the number everything bad happened on. 10/10/10. The worst day imaginable for him. He woke up at 10 that day to find a note from his boyfriend. He broke down after reading it. 10/10/10. Was his little brothers 4th birthday and they were all on their way home. They had seen a movie and went to dinner. That's all. But who knew the day would end with them getting thrown off the bridge into the water. The only reason Virgil was alive was because he had taken off his seatbelt to grab a water. 10/10/10. The day Virgil lost his bestfriend, his boyfriend, and his family.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. That was the number one rule, the golden rule. It was the most important thing. It always had been. Ever since Patton was old enough to understand, that was what everyone told him. So, that's what he did. The feeling wasn't always reciprocated. Apparently, the world that told him to care about others before himself... didn't think of Patton either. So if Patton wasn't thinking of Patton... and the world wasn't thinking of Patton... who was thinking of Patton? The answer became quite clear to him as he stared down into the watery depths below him. No one was thinking of Patton. ** AU where the Sides are roommates... mostly Patton-Centric but there's a lot of shippy stuff, fluff, and funsies in there for all the characters! Not to mention heavy angst... Will be putting Trigger Warnings on chapters where appropriate. This is my first book on Wattpad... take it easy on me? <3 love you all. Cover art is mine... you like? lol. <3 <3 **
