Something is happening to Bio Tech companies around the globe: explosions, hacking, espionage. Having recently finished a business degree in Wales, Joe Trebble returns to Canada to protect the company his father created and face the reasons he left. Joe also has to manage the growing secrets as he faces his first mission as a spy.
Authors Note: This story was started on a blog in 2007. The chapters are based on writing prompts. I am hoping to work on this serial more frequently. -HK

Seven years ago, an event caused the paranatural to come forward on the world stage. The Special Bureau of Containment claimed to have it under control and contained. They emerged, and with them, the worlds of myth and legend became ever so real. Two individuals are struggling to find what they desire in a universe even more complicated by their gift or curse, depending on how you look at it. Aidan is battling his dark past and a voice that keeps him on the path that he is on. Ian, a sheltered young man, has been in the clear from the watchful eye of the SBC for some time. Their paths are linked in more ways than one. Will they resolve their internal conflicts and find what they are looking for? Will they succumb to this treacherous world that imposes laws on what cannot be understood? Collateral Damage is, at first, a slow burner that explores the inner thoughts and lives of the two main characters as it introduces the world they inhabit. The story slowly introduces hints and references that the reader can piece together to get the grander picture at play. It ramps up as you keep reading with more action and drama until it is too much to bear. Can you spot the twists before they come? I don't plan on writing anything overly graphic, but some light smut and a lot of violence will be a part of it. Rated as mature. Plan to update as frequently as I can. Hopefully weekly.مكتمِلة

Amid the huge mess her life has become, she meets Kyle, who is an agent assigned to her to keep her safe from her so-called clone. He is also the new boy at school that has an unadulterated hatred for her. Kyle is more man than boy, who has a cynical outlook at life, and a very black and white way of looking at things. As the school term ends and she graduates, Dayna finds herself having a very interesting summer filled with planning, strategizing, and an unknown attraction towards Kyle. Alex Rubium is a normal teenager who goes to college. He is dealing with the stress of work, all cramped up, not to mention how much he and his best friend struggle to fit in with others. To add salt into the wound, recently, strange things have been happening to him. After an encounter with an escaped wolf/falcon hybrid named Wolfalco, he notices that he might have a superpower. Actually, he does. He can repel or attract things with his hands, solid OR liquid. So, now that he has these powers, while he does want to hide them from people, he also wants to experiment with them. So, he creates himself an alter ego, Attracopel! A vigilante of London. Unfortunately, the police aren't that happy with the existence of a vigilante, and want to arrest Attracopel, despite all the help he is trying to give. The police chief seems especially determined to get rid of him... It becomes apparent that London is in danger. There are vicious attacks happening everywhere, crime rates increasing and it seems like shit has hit the fan. Alex/Attracopel needs to step up, but keep his two lives separate. Can he deal with all of this stress at once? Or will London fall into anarchy?مكتمِلة
