Wish It Could Be Rewritten

His eyes were dead. That's the best way to describe how they looked. And my own looked the same. I know what he was feeling, I know what it's like. To be alone. To be afraid that they would find out. To think the world has no place for you. And it scared me that someone else had to go threw what I do. So I promised myself I would help him. To make him happy so he didn't feel the same as me. But what I didn't know was that he had made himself the same promise.
