The law had always been the same. You could have one type of Pokemon and one type only. At 13 years old you took a quiz whether you wanted to be a trainer or not. No one knew the consequences of not sticking to your type but no one cared to find out.
Camille, an ice trainer had always wanted to become a gym leader. Camille and her best friend Abigail had always had a deep connection because they both wanted to become gym leaders one day. They both attended their local University in Unova to try and make their dreams become a reality. But a little illegal something cropped up and got in the way.

13 year old Sapphire has been living a life of secrets and no independence. The secrets are known to her and her Pokemon, her ability to talk with them and to blend in with nature when calm. Her father wants her to become a Gym Leader like him, but she rather defeat them instead. She's so desperate to prove to her father that her battles skills are serious, but she just hides in the trees trying to hide from her dad's lectures. She would just ask her friend Ruby's father, Professor Birch, for a Pokedex to go on a journey, but then her father will just stop her. So Ruby helps her get one, which also inspires him to go on a journey as well with his Pokedex. Sapphire finally leaves, but she has to lay low so her father won't catch her. There are some gym leaders who are too busy to battle, don't want to battle, and are just too tough. To make matters worse, Team Magma and Aqua are causing trouble just to save the world? One of the team's leader even wants her to join them, but why? Also, who is the ally who is most willing to help her? For Sapphire, she will face many foes, family, and friends, old and new, on her journey, pushing her past her limits for power. Can she do it? Upon first glance, you'd immediately recognise me as one of Unova's gym leaders. That's just surface info. If you went ever so slightly deeper then you'd notice that I, in fact have two brothers, Chili and Cress and that the gym is also a restaurant! Basic info.
