The Curse Of Flanders

Set in 1916, Private Alex Hawkes is a soldier of the 36th Ulster Division, X corps, fourth army, British Expeditionary Force in the first world war. Fresh from basic training, he arrives on the 16 of june, assigned to a sector near the Somme river. Rumours have it that General Haig has ordered a major offensive to punch through the german lines.
