|BOOK 1 IN "WHAT A LOVELY SERIES"| Centuries into the future, earth's humans have changed. After a newly awakened dominant genome triggered the new arrival of superpowers, earth's inhabitants finally became super like their predecessors could have only dreamed of being. With now 50% of the population possessing some kind of power, the earth runs rampant with heroes and villains. And what better to train new aspiring heroes, than thriving hero schools. And better yet, the best one across the world, the Metropolis Hero Academy. Lilith Ito is a rather odd case. With a rather dark past that left Lilith both with no memory of the event and an unclassified type of Dissociative Identity Disorder, Lilith's home life had always been less than perfect. But as she began to acquire powers and a mentor with a similar ability, Lilith began to do something for herself, even without the intentions of a hero. But after her mentor was killed in action, Lilith finally takes one more selfish step and gets into M.H. Academy based on her dead mentor's recommendation letter. But keeping her past from her new classmates is hard. From new friends that Lilith doesn't want to scare away to a boy that somehow has captured her heart, Lilith has got her hands full. And as a hidden evil begins to arise from the shadows, Lilith will have to tackle her new life as a hero student with a clear conviction of whom she wants to be and what she'll sacrifice to get there. But dear reader, you must always remember: Evil still lurks around the corner. TO COMPLY WITH WATTPAD GUIDELINES, THE FOLLOWING BOOK HAS BEEN MARKED AS MATURE FOR ITS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE. The universe run by Mothu is crazy. Powers run rampant in this world, and people can live over 10x longer than in ours. In this world, humans, over the course of millions of years, had made a reliable form of fast space travel. They had spread out and explored the universe, inhabiting and colonizing various planets. They found orbs, orbs that held immense powers. One of those orbs, the one of time was taken back to earth, as it was the first-place humans lived, so it got first dibs. Unfortunately, they tried to use the time orb to bring back people from the dead too many times. The orb malfunctioned and send the earth and its inhabits back millions of years to year zero. No one really cared and left earth stuck back in its past. The other orbs were taken and spread out between key planets, all of which were among the first planets to be colonized. They were renamed after the orb they received. Of course, peace was never going to last. People began fighting over the orbs that granted such wonderful powers. The fighting lasted for centuries. Around 500at (at=after time warp of earth,) Four people with enormous powers rose to the top and took all the orbs for themselves. They were eventually sealed away by a resistance group and the galaxy made a treaty to try to prevent such an event from ever happening again. Peace took hold once again and people freely traveled between planets. Security became more and more lax, people became more trusting again. All of this left the door wide open for one man to go on a mission to reclaim the orbs, in hopes of bringing back those four men...

"But I have a plan. In the event that my powers, or the darkness inside my head, were to ever attempt to take what little control I had, what was left in my humanity would be ejected from my body and into the closest living thing. Whether it be another human being, a snake, or an enderman, my humanity would latch onto the creature, and become a part of it. Whatever is left of this conscious will be transferred to this new body, this new person it would create. And hopefully, they will be able to succeed where I could not. I pray this new being will be able to protect my brother from harm, and from what I am soon to become. Like I, the worst brother ever, in the history of the planet, could not. 'Cause next time, these eyes see him, I will no longer be Collin, brother of Armen, proud son under the captain of the guard, this body will be Herobrine, murderer of loved ones and destroyer of life. I wish you the best of luck, my humanity." I do not own The Haunted or Minecraft. Book cover belongs to SuspendedInSpace.
