What if Jonathan had a sister who looked absolutely nothing like him. A sister who doesn't even find out of her own brother's existence until her 17th birthday when she asks her mother. Meet Crystal Fairchild. She has dark emerald green eyes that occasionally turn black when she's angry and red-blonde hair. She was barely 2 when the Uprising happened and when she and her pregnant mother moved to New York. A few years later Crystal, Jocelyn and Clary run into the Lightwoods and Crystal begins her training after promising her mother to never breathe a word of the lifestyle she lives to her younger sister. Jocelyn had wanted to protect Clary from the truth of who she really was, but let her oldest daughter into the world she was running from since Crystal was born in Idris. As the years go by there is a strain on the sisters' relationship because Crystal spends most of her time at the Institute to train. So how will Clary finding out about the Shadow world after years of being in the dark affect their relationship? How will the youngest sister affect her relationship with her best friends and long time crush on her parabatai's brother? And who will Crystal side with in the Mortal War the family she's known for years or her twin and father? Read to find out.

Disclaimer: I own none of the pictures or characters but Crystal . The plot is kind of a mix of the show and books with some scenes from the movie as well.
