Imagine Beach City. A normal city, normal people, normal society, a normal school. Or, at least, one can only assume so. Some might say that their school is abnormal because of the people in it. The crystal gems, trying to hide their secrets to avoid further investigation, Steven and Connie, trying to live life to the fullest, Lapis and Peridot, trying to uncover as many secrets as possible, and Jasper and her gang, trying to be the best and most loved- and feared. Connie finally decides to tell Steven straight up and find out if he feels the same way, but Steven keeps avoiding her. He keeps avoiding everyone. Finally, Connie caught Steven before he could run off...boy what a surprise she got.

It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Steven must find out soon because no adventure for him is without conflict and some such conflict is lurking around waiting to strike when he least expects it.
