Lyric Scott (The Rascals 2)

Lyric has spent half of his life loving Athens. He has dreamed of waiting for her at the foot of the altar as she marches toward him in a traditional white gown. He has dreamed of giving her the house of her dreams, a two-story modern building sitting atop a cliff, overlooking the horizon. He has dreamed of fathering her children and growing old with her.

But he has made a mistake and no matter how many times he apologizes, nothing can ever rectify what he's done. Nothing can seem to make Athens love him the same way she did before.

Santorini is so close to swearing off love. After multiple failed relationships and a massive fiasco with her celebrity ex-boyfriend, she thinks it's high time to put her feelings on a leash. But her plans are disrupted when she befriends the charming singer, Lyric. He proposes that since the two of them have obvious chemistry and are very good friends, they can try to make the best out of the companionship. But no matter how much effort they put in trying to force love out of their friendship, it doesn't seem to work.

Can one really teach the heart what to feel?
