Blossom + Paul Lahote

"How many more times am I going to dig up the truth about a lie you told, Blossom?" Paul's voice cracks. I know this time I messed up bad.
"I suggest you stop digging." I spoke honestly.
"I can't be with you if this is how life is going to be."
"Well, you go off, and decide. I'll be right here. Like I always am." I stare at my hands. I hear him walk out, slamming the front door behind him. Tears falling from my eyes.
I should have left years ago, but he was my reason to stay. Slowly, he's becoming my reason to leave.
