He never intended on coming back to Earth, the threat of evil being released too great and only he could stop it. But when a larger threat works to over-throw him, Lucifer finds himself returning to Earth to protect Chloe and their friends. Is it the end of these star-crossed lover's epic love story...or is it just the beginning? This began as my take on what might happen in Lucifer season 5 (Netflix) before (and during) all of the teasers. I started writing this about a year ago, after season 5 was announced.
