I'm Coming Home // n.horan oneshot *Completed*

[Completed] Captain Niall James Horan of the Irish army has been gone for 11 months. Sent to Rwanda in September of 1993 to assist in training the troops, he did not know he'd shortly be fighting alongside them in April 1994. Friends were killing friends, brothers were killing brothers. Five days into the genocide, Niall was accidentally separated from his group in the middle of the night as they were gone to make an ambush. He was kidnapped for weeks on end before he escaped in the most brutal way possible. When the army relieves him from the troops forever- so he could become mentally stable again- can he go back to being the Niall he was? Will he ever be able to get over what he did just to escape? Maybe with the help of his wife of four years, Jasmine Horan- whom he doesn't want near him at all when he gets back- he will slowly get back to his old lifestyle. He'll have to try and come home twice; physically- which he already succeeds- but also mentally, where he has a slight issue.
