The Empath

*A KOTLC fanfiction.* Bevin Valerie Ford has lived in the Forbiddan Cities all her life. Her mother is a human, and she's been raised with her brother, boyfriend and cousin all on the same street. After a late night football game, Bevin and her family are coming home when a car speeds towards them out of nowhere. They're hit, and both Bevin and her brother Anders are hurt beyond any repair human doctors can fix. Bevin and Anders are rushed to a Black Swan hideout, and are told they're half elf. Bevin has new powers, scary ones, and she has to learn how to control and nurture them. Both siblings must learn to accept a new life with new friends, enemies, family, powers and love, all while trying to protect those important to them. How is Bevin going to survive in a new world and give up her old one?
