This book teaches people about the struggles smart and gifted people have to face to be who they are. The math problems are not the whole story.

I chuckled slightly and shook my head. "Does that usually work for you? The cute little remarks and that nice smile." I teased. He gave me a sheepish look of surprise. "Most girls would be flattered at my attempt to flirt with them." I scoffed and shook my head. "Well, as a member of the "most girls" community, I can say that I am not." "Wow. That's a bit harsh." He gave me a smug look and crossed his arms. "Sorry," I shrugged. "I'm immune to boy charms. In fact, I think I'm allergic." "Well, don't think so highly of yourself. With her mom and dad's unfortunate death, she's been left under the care of her evil step-aunt and forced to stay with her annoying step-cousin. As if college isn't stressful enough. And then there's this other guy in her life. They met online by accident and have been talking for months but she's not brave enough to make it something real. Will Ashby is the all-around superstar on campus. He's practically royalty because he's the running back on the Ohio State Football team: one of the best college football teams in America. Will is the person guys want to be and guy girls want to be with. But in actuality, he'd rather blend in with the background noise. His only focus has been football and finishing his degree. That was until he met this girl. He doesn't even know her name or what she looks like, but she's the girl he'd want to be real with. Because of circumstances, Will needs an English tutor or he won't be able to play. And much to her dismay, Maya is the perfect person for the job. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. Jace Summers is someone who is always true to himself no matter what anyone else thinks of him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though. He has been out since seventh grade and is thankful he has never gotten hate for it, not that it would have bothered him anyway. Alec Walker is someone who everyone knows and likes, though he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He has brown hair, hazel eyes with the perfect mix of brown and green, and his side profile could make angels swoon. Neither of those two boys seem very different from each other, both are kind, well-liked, and very handsome. Even if they aren't friends, you wouldn't expect them to dislike each other. Well, sadly that is incorrect. Ever since they can remember, they have each hated each other with a burning passion. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying and throws his personality in everyone's faces. Those seem like very small or petty things that they could easily overcome by having a conversation, but both are too stubborn for that. It is a mutual hate that neither will give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. (Inspired by my own life story, well not completely) Senior year of high school is already starting off well for Tanner Gray, he's got his whole life planned out, and he can't wait to share it with his best friend and girlfriend. That is until he meets Autumn Blanchard, a shy and mysterious outcast he's known since Freshman year. When he finally talks to her, he learns the reason behind her odd behavior, she's diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Because of her disability, Autumn couldn't imagine a popular guy like Tanner to be talking to her, thinking it's part of a joke. But when the opposite pair start spending time together, Tanner starts to see a whole new side of Autumn, and at the same time, the two grow closer to each other. But being an Aspie is not easy for Autumn, all she wants is to be normal, but she knows she can't. She has to suffer from her disability every day, while at the same time dealing with the people who see her as the odd one out. But Tanner isn't going to let that happen, he will do anything to give Autumn the Senior year she deserves. This is no normal romantic story, it's different, it's unique. When a man with incredible speed, unbelievable power, strange old-fashion clothes, and an obnoxious personality threatens her life, she discovers she is a rare "two-worlder" -a person with one parent from Earth and the other from Earth Prime. She escapes another attack by jumping through a portal to the alternate dimension, much to the chagrin of her protector. As if managing without electricity, cars, and phones on the more Edwardian world weren't enough stress; she finally meets her long-absent father, a scientist in the top-secret field of Trans-Dimensional Travel. Things get more complicated when she realizes her best friend's father, or rather the Earth Prime version of him, might have been the person that orchestrated the assaults. ___ Thanks for reading! All is well in their samll world until the day the girls collide with the rich of Charity, Connecticut. They attend the local school & try to fit in but everyone knows where they live & the circumstances of why they are there. Unaware that the towns gossip is targeting the girls as unworthy & not respectable they each struggle to fit in & to achieve the popularity & happiness that they desire. Sometimes at a high cost. In the tough times that lie ahead will the girls fall victim to the towns gossip? Or will they learn to trust in the people they care for & who care about them by discovering the true meaning of friendship & family?
