After the battle with Naraku, Kagome decides to go back to her world for some supplies. Her mate, Sesshomaru, waits patiently. But on her journey home, something happens inside the well and she is casted into a different world. One filled with demons still but there are exorcists. When she is found by the headmaster of True Cross Academy, she is offered to learn there to help increase her Miko powers, something that is rare in their world. She joins and makes new friends. Will she be okay in this world or will she slowly go insane?

Upon returning, Chiyo learns what happened to her best friend and spends the next 50 years making herself stronger all while disguised as a man to make travel easier. Inuyasha is awakened and she searches all over the place for Inuyasha. After teaming up with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippo, Chiyo leads the group to the demon slaying village where she once trained. They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
