A loving spouse. A healer. How does this person cope with evil villains willing to destroy everything? They convicted the victim... now how does the victim goes on with life as a healer?

As the book opens, I was in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt in December 2019. What starts as a simple conversation with another patient changed my life. Most of the rest of the book tells the reader how I got to this point. I experienced profound injustice between 2004 and 2006. By opening with a story about suicide, I want the reader to understand that the injustice was not just something that happened long ago.

This book is an account of all the accomplishments and successes that I had in overcoming tremendous odds and challenges. Growing up, I was paralyzed by shyness and lacked social skills, and so the idea of becoming a psychotherapist never occurred to me when I went off to college. I learned that I could overcome those limitations. I wanted to bring that hope and healing to others. Activities like that make life meaningful and bring me joy.

The reasons why I was suicidal in 2019 were set in motion in 2000 when a meteor would come crashing down upon the life that I had built leaving me powerless to do anything other than watching everything burn to ashes - the home that I had, the life I had known, the love I had, my career, everything would disappear almost as if it never existed. In that one the year 2000, I could not imagine things could get any worse. But the nightmare would continue for the next few years... culminating in a suicide attempt in 2019.

Now, I am connecting with others, building relationships, and finding a reason to live again. I am writing my own story of my life.

My parents Bruce Martin Whealton Sr. and Kathleen Murphy Whealton were actually guilty of assault on a minor while their son, me, Bruce Martin Whealton Jr. NEVER harmed anyone but had to suffer as I was a perpetrator when I was only ever a victim.

Book One of Five in the New Beginnings Series. **You do NOT have to read Inhale, Exhale, & Breathe to enjoy these stories** #1 in bxb tag: 09/21/2024 #4 in friendstolovers tag: 9/21/2024 CYRUS PIERCE: I'm content in my almost soundless world. I prefer to live through the romance stories I weave and post online. Hardly anyone reads my books, even if they're free, but I do have one fan, and he's supported me since I started writing two years ago. Except, my writing started to take a depressing dive when I realized that you simply couldn't prevent nor protect your heart from falling for someone. For him. For the one who had no interest in me. When I fell in love with him, I thought we had a chance. It was an accident. Turned out, I couldn't be more wrong. He doesn't want me, and I wasn't supposed to have him. It didn't matter if he showed up in the bookstore every day, talking to everyone else except me. Nor did it matter at all because he didn't know sign language. He couldn't learn. We couldn't communicate. But after I go on a date and it ends in putrid disaster, he makes his appearance known, and he's angry. Then he's doing things for me that confuse me. My stories are filling up with pages of content, dreams that I want to come true, and my mystery commenter encourages me to continue-to reach my happiness. To take what I want. But the activities planned start sparking familiarity-like I lived it before, or maybe dreamed it. Or maybe, just maybe, I'd written it before? My mind is spiraling, but I can't stop myself from getting closer and closer to him. I'm not supposed to have him, but my heart craves him. Sage Monroe, I'm in love with you, and I'm scared now because I have a feeling that you've been communicating with me in more ways than one.

"There's a beginning to every story. There's an end to every beginning. This is how my story begins and ends." -Kate "These a soul out there that's meant for me. I just haven't came across it yet." -Bear My story doesn't the fairytale start however in the mist of everything; it has the fairytale ending. The princess who gets her Prince Charming. Or in my case, the VP of Creed MC, he's not a Prince Charming but he's Royalty to his club. How we met was by accident but I call it fate. Outsiders would be scared of such a brute, I wasn't one of them. When I moved here from Ashby with my daughter, I hadn't expected to catch the eyes of another VP. I promised to stay clear from any members of any clubs. I wouldn't risk my heart to be shattered by any outlaw criminal again. My luck, they'd be exactly like Viper and if they were... I would never recover. I made plenty of mistakes to get me to where I am today. But with those mistakes, I wouldn't ask for a redo. I wouldn't have McKenzie. I wouldn't be married to my savior. We wouldn't have our children, if I had asked for a redo in life. Having Mac was a miracle but falling for Bear was a blessing in disguise. He had his own son almost the same age as Mac. Our love wasn't off the bat, it was a slow pace. It took him months on top of months to get me to agree to one date. That one date turned into another, turned into two more, which turned into dating. Before Bear, there was many of mistakes. I was trying to fix the mistakes me mother created before she passed. My mother was a prostitute for the Viper's MC. She had sex with any of the member and thus is how I came about. I never knew who my father was, not that I cared. I tried to go down a different path but any path I chose when straight to the Viper's MC clubhouse. My story will be a rocky rollercoaster one that ends up in a happy ending. You'll laugh, smile, and cry. You have been warned.

Prosecuting The Victim, Gender Biases, and The Psychological Impact of Injustice by BruceWhealton
43 parts Ongoing Mature
This is a true story about a victim and a perpetrator with a twist. This is not a whodunnit. The police didn't have to go looking for who victimized me, the prosecutor didn't fail to get a conviction against the perpetrator and fail to get justice for me. What happened was that I was the victim of a brutal and bloody assault on October 1, 2024. Then within 12 hours of calling 911 (emergency) and reporting how I was hurt, I found myself being interrogated as if I was the perpetrator while still wearing the same bloody clothing. This is a story about a predator/perpetrator named Ana Ensaf Amador-Riza who was treated like she was the victim. I was the victim of her brutal violence, and I did no wrong. A perversion of justice occurred based only on the choice to believe the perpetrator. I begin this book with a description of what happened to me while I was minding my own business at home. There will then be an interlude into my desperate attempt to end my life in December of 2019. I do this to ensure that no one tells me that what happened long ago should stay in the past and/or this story is about some fixation of mine upon a matter that happened years ago. My suicide attempt was not a cry for help. I simply wanted to die because it seemed that there were too many walls/barriers to every dream I ever had and there was nothing I or anyone else could do. It took years of hard work to overcome shyness so that I could be a mental health professional. Part of that experience involved helping victims of trauma to heal with only good intentions. Worrying about being rejected was a preoccupation of mine. I spent years trying to overcome social phobias and shyness. At one time, I hadn't even considered a career as a psychotherapist because I was so shy. I overcame my social anxiety by telling myself that if I came out of my proverbial shell nothing bad was going to happen. I was wrong in that regard.

The Supposed Terrorist

31 parts Ongoing

My trial in court was going on and all the evidence pointed toward my crimes. It was a really pointless proceeding. Everyone knew I had committed those sins against the nation. You know, the usual- mass killings, bombings, and all. I felt a bit sad as I heard the sentence of my death. 23 felt no age to die. "The court is adjourned-" The judge was saying when he got cut off by someone's frantic yells. The doors to the courtroom bang opened and a man entered with urgency. He had some papers in his hands and started waving them in the air. "I CAN PROVE HER INNOCENCE, I CAN. I HAVE EVIDENCE!" His voice rang in the room. I stared. ___________________________________________ Rico Wayland is someone completely abnormal for her age. After all, being convicted for terrorist activities isn't at the top of the to-do list of a 23 year old young woman. But, of course, she has landed herself in that situation. And she is completely aware that she has, in fact, committed those crimes. But what will she do when a man (who she has know clue about) claims to her innocence? How will she discover the thin fine line between reality and illusion?
