Dear Lisa,
It’s hard to believe you’re gone. You slipped away from my fingers too fast. You went into a coma yesterday.
Sure, this might sound stupid, but I don’t care. I’m going to write to you about my life, since you left home.
But I thought you’d like to know anyways how I’m doing, and how your parents are doing.
But 5 hours ago the doctor proclaimed you brain-dead.
You went into the coma instantly and painlessly, he said.
I love you. Always.
Love, Shane.
---------

For Lisa, the girl he loves that might never wake up again.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."

Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
