His eyes met mine, and the world stopped breathing. We didn't need words; the silence between us burned hotter than fire. It wasn't love anymore it was something darker, something that tasted like pain and desire. It was heavy, suffocating... the kind of silence that crawls under your skin and refuses to leave. Between us, it wasn't love anymore it was hunger, obsession, and something far darker. He didn't have to touch me to make me shiver. His gaze did that. His silence did that. And I hated how much I craved it how much I craved him. He didn't say he missed me, but his silence did.
