Tamashi Karitori is your average farm boy from the 1920's. America is just recovering from the 'war to end all wars.' Rumors of a reaper killing thousands circle around and he must find out how to escape it. But no one will escape Death. For Death always comes.

Ironically, reincarnation or transmigration was my favorite trope. I had always imagined what it would be like to awaken in a new location and time.
