As a study on young teenagers I had the 7th grade English teacher give her class a project. They had to write in a journal about what happens in school; all they learned, experienced, witnessed, everything. The teacher would not look at any journal entries until the last day of school when she gives them to me. Most were full of the normal teen gossip and 'how stupid the lessons are' but there was one that stood out. It belonged to a young girl called Annabel. This is her seventh grade experience:

DISCLAIMER: In almost ALL chapters- Self Harm, suicidal thoughts, mental illness, smut...If any of this bothers you, be careful reading it please. Alex, a lonely 17 year old with a heart problem and a lot of anxiety is hated by nearly everyone in his school. It was stupid, he knew that, but his anxiety and depression told him otherwise. Told him that he deserved to be hated, truly. He still longed for a friend though. He'd heard a rumor about some stupid party that any other time, he wouldn't be interested in. However, for the sake of at least attempting to find a friend, he went, and he didn't regret going when a nice black and blonde haired boy struck up a conversation, and life was a crazy roller coaster ever since with the future completely unknown. He has amazing friends, and an amazing family who love and care for him dearly but, he doesn't feel this. He feels like he has to be perfect. With the pressure of school, and having to keep up to the social norms of a professional swimmer, it's hard for Alfie to concentrate. He needs the help. And to do this, Alvin helps. Alvin helps him find his worth, take control, and makes his life easier, or so he seems. His best friends, Killian and Ruby, know Alfie inside and out. They know his family life, school life.
