As a study on young teenagers I had the 7th grade English teacher give her class a project. They had to write in a journal about what happens in school; all they learned, experienced, witnessed, everything. The teacher would not look at any journal entries until the last day of school when she gives them to me. Most were full of the normal teen gossip and 'how stupid the lessons are' but there was one that stood out. It belonged to a young girl called Annabel. This is her seventh grade experience:

Just A Thought
Something tragic has happened. A 17 year old Valeri has to move to her dad's place. She spent all her life thinking he was dead. Her now dead mother told her that. His Sweet Lies
Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. I sat in my first period english class, my teacher grading papers or whatever it is that teachers do when you walk in. Soon the first bell rung, and people filed in. The usual suspects, the nerds, the cool kids, the "we hate liz" kids, and so on and so forth. But Imagine my surprise when I see a kid with blonde straighted hair, and an under cut roll in. And I mean that literally, he rolled in, in a pair of healies. I couldn't take my eyes off this peculiar specicimine. A woman from the office handed my teacher a note, who then attended her attention to the odd looking boy standing behind her. "What's your name?" She smiled. "Jaimie." My overprotective brothers
Chloe Clarkson is 15 years old and lives with her 10 older, overprotective, defensive, annoying brothers who will stop at nothing to keep her safe. When Chloe was six her mother and her father took Chloe to her dance competition but on their way home they got into an accident sadly her parents died leaving the oldest brother, Tom in charge. Since then Chloe has dealt with many mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. Chloe's anxiety is so bad she has a stutter when she is away from home, isn't with her brothers and when she isn't with her friends. She has an anxiety attack almost everyday. One day her and her brother fight leading to her family falling into a ditch. Finally Chloe is fed up of her family fighting and forgives. Everything comes out but when her brothers react speechless to a sad memory Chloe tell she takes it as a sign in a bad way. Chloe takes a step into water. Her brothers have to say a goodbye? They don't know is she'll wake up. Chloe is in hospital lifeless and her family and friends surround her.. Will she wake up or will she take a trip to her parents? A new guy in class? The bad boy starts getting me involved? A new group of friends? What happens when things start to turn over for Chloe? She becomes more confident and gains more trust. But as the same time she cracks. It's a bumpy ride but she has plenty of help along the way- lets just hope her brothers don't interfere to much on the ride. Warning may be triggering involves; eating disorders, self harm, anxiety, bullying, violence and bad language. I do not influence these in any way and self harm is not the answer.
