Darcy Red is a girl who lives in the big brick house on 17 Cherry Lane. She lives there with 29 other orphaned children. They are all raised by Mr. Sir, a man who wanted kids but never got to after his wife died. As Darcy does her chores, she decides t break the rules and take something that isn't hers. That wasn't a good idea due to the fact she finds herself back in the 1950's.
