The T'au Empire is a proud and mighty federation of planets, a union of many races under the banner of a single purpose, a shared goal known as the Greater Good. They have expanded into the galaxy, seeking new worlds to convert to their superior philosophy of self-sacrifice and collectivism. So far they have had great success and little resistance, but they will not remain unopposed for long. A monster has slumbered in the darkness of the space beyond their star charts, a massive empire that dwarfs the T'au in size and power, the Imperium of Man. In their quest for expansion they have awoken the beast, and now it is upon them with a force large enough to crush their fledgling empire once and for all. Can the T'au survive the wrath of the Imperium, or will the Greater Good perish in the wake of their own destruction?

[Sequel to 'Renegade'] Successfully routing a potential Chaos invasion and a Genestealer takeover of the Shrine World of Cosperan, Caius once again turns his attention to Hepharion and pursues him off planet. This is in part due to the pioneering genius of Frakas and his bioengineering prowess which allows humanoids to accommodate to new planets readily. It is also secondary to special pod ships and spirit ships left behind by long dead civilizations that allow for teleportation across massive chasms of spacetime. But the empire is torn. War rages in four sectors. The wargods governing each sector want to unite the entire kingdom under one banner, theirs. But each of the sectors has unique challenges and pitfalls that stymie the other warlords, maintaining a stalemate seemingly without end. Enter Raikin and his entourage of followers. In his teens, he is the youngest of the hundred year men to intervene in celestial matters, and he may also have his hands the most full. Will he and his followers be enough to upset the stalemate and bring peace to the universe? Or will the intense fusion of cutting edge science and magic he introduces to the equation simply spread these battles beyond this universe into parallel universes, and the multiverse as a whole? [Sequel to 'Imperium'] Following the successful defense of Alamarri and the sudden withdrawal of Hepharion's Chaos Marines, Caius returned to Macragge in time to see the return of his Primarch and receive a new mission from his Captain: find Hepharion and bring him down, no matter the cost, and chase down and secure the remains of the ancient Titan project. At first, resources seem scarce with the Black Crusade taking much of the attention and firepower of the Ultramarines. However, help comes in an unexpected form when an Inquisitor's acolyte appears with an unexpected offer for the men of the Twentieth. Across the stars, Bahad is called before the Council of Farseers of his Craftworld and desperately pleads his case for his alliance with Caius and his hunt for Hepharion. However, this falls on deaf ears when the Craftworld, concerned about his continued association with the Imperium, orders him into a temporary arrest to await further judgment. While in isolation, plagued by his visions of what shall happen without his involvement, he, too, receives an unexpected visitor: a Harlequin Solitaire with a keen interest on seeing him reunited with his Ultramarine.
