Many years ago the vampire race was once ruled by the pureblood vampires. A half-blood vampire by the name Aiden hated purebloods and the power they held over the vampire race. Upon killing one of the purebloods Aiden realizes that drinking thier blood made him stronger and faster so he decided to create a hunter coven. Other vampire covens began to fear Aiden as he became more and more powerful so Aiden's coven began to rise in power and followers. Having hunted down the pureblood vampires Aiden's coven completely wiped them into extinction. That's what they thought untill they came across a young girl named Freya Novak.
