Mechanical Death

The machines rose against humanity, completely destroying their cities, countries, people. The world full of nothing but death, machines, and a few human survivors. Getting ambushed, the last humans gave the burden of hope to the hands of a boy, sending him to the past using a stolen material to stop the machines before they were even created.
