Crescent Lestrange is an Animagus, she can turn to and from a Leopardess at will. Unbeknownst to her, her new friends the Marauders are also Animagus. Minus Remus of course, he's a werewolf. But after an accident one night Crescent finds herself also a werewolf. But she's different, she was an Animagus while it happened and that muddled up her genes. Can she come to terms with her newfound identity or will she lose herself?

Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school.
