It's a normal day for anyone. But for it'll be proved wrong. Sirens were attacking. Yap had just completed building his state of the art Leviathan class Battleship. It's outfitted with the best of the best guns. Little did he know he sailed in to a maelstrom created by the Sirens after holding them off. Yap finds himself in a world where WW2-era ships are "reincarnated" as shipgirls. Azur Lane. His task is to ultimately unite all factions to destroy the sirens once and for all. (With a bit of Y/N's help *cough*)

"Not one step back!" -Admiral of the Fleet Bernard York Lancaster, 2102 Humanity has endured countless calamities in the 21st century, and the transition was only more chaotic. The invasion of the alien species commonly known as "Sirens" [Sirena Alienus] has ushered in a new age; an age of great sacrifice and equally grand valor. While the invasion of the Sirens has united the world in a shared goal ― one of banishing these aliens who do not belong ― and prevented the unfurling of the Third world war, it destroyed countless cities, destroyed international communication, and killed and starved millions. The Sovereign-class of fast battleships were designed as flagships from the beginning. The design and construction of the lead ship of the class ― UNS Sovereign ― was finished incredibly fast; laid down on the 3rd of March 2099 and commissioned 1st of November 2100. After three years of dutiful service and countless battles, the Sovereign finally met its match and was left with only one option ― self-destruction. And with only a mere press of a button, the pride of humanity and the Human-Siren war were ended ― Sirens forced to retreat to wherever they came from and the Sovereign erased from the surface of the Earth, only remembered through models, photos, and fond memories. But its service has not come to an end, merely continued... ...in a familiar, yet distant world. How will he influence the fate of this unknown world? How will the organization known as Azur Lane react? What will he find? ― Friends? Enemies? Comrades? Or perhaps, something more... Mental Cubes: The very material that Ship-girls began to appear after alien-like creatures called Sirens had appeared on Earth, had began to alter naval ships into their own human form to walk upon the planet as a last-ditch attempt to drive away the alien invaders. It led to the creation of the very alliance of humanity fighting together against the Sirens, known as Azur Lane. However, the split between the alliance's main 4, Eagle Union and Royal Navy to Ironblood and Sakura Empire is mainly on their beliefs. With the remains of Azur Lane taking on the Sirens with their own technology, while the other side known as Crimson Axis, believed that they can take on the Sirens with borrowed technology from their enemies, the Sirens, to use it against them. However, there was a slight error forming within the very material that made them into here, the Mental Cubes. And that would soon be evident regarding the appearances of Ship-Boys, the opposites of Ship-Girls due to that error. How would the entire history of Azur Lane be changed ever so slightly thanks to that small error? Azur Lane is owned and created by Shanghai Manjuu, Xiamen Yongshi. I own nothing except the Original Characters that are placed into the story. [Creator of the Story is MatthiasWrites.]
