Jesse Collins is used to being the new kid in town. As an army brat his father has moved Jesse , his mother, and all his siblings around to whatever state he was stationed in for years. But when Jesse's grandfather passed away he leaves the family farm to Jesse's father who decides to hang up his helmet and settle the family down in the small town of Twin Falls, Idaho where he grew up. When Jesse arrives in Twin falls, he can tell right off the bat that he doesn't exactly fit in. Sure, he wears similar clothes to the other red-neck kids, listens to the same type of music, even rides horses, but there is something that has Jesse on edge: this town is full of white people who look as though they've never seen a black guy in all their lives. Despite his feelings of being an outsider, Jesse soon makes friends with a close-knit group of teens that those around town refer to as the "Wolf Pack." Jesse seems to get along fairly well with most of them, even the older ring leader Silas Kane who keeps a close eye on Jesse and his newly budding romance with a girl in their group. But just when things seem to be going alright for Jesse, the girl turns up dead at the bottom of a mountain near the edge of town, and the investigation into her death throws Jesse into a world of deception, suspicion, and long-kept secrets. Jesse might be the prime suspect, but he isn't the only one, and he is determined to prove himself innocent no matter what the Wolf Pack or anyone else thinks. Only one question haunts Twin Falls: who killed Rosalie Barlow?
