It all started with a pen and a hot pink sticky note... Corrin Brier has her final year of high school set in stone. No distractions, just tests, studying more studying and college applications. She's always been serious, focused, driven and at the top of her class, she knows that she's destined to end up at her dream school, Stanford. But things start spiraling out of control when Corrin's best friend, Katherine, decides to leave a love note in her soulmate's locker. The situation takes an unexpected turn and Corrin, despite the constant pressure of her mother, ends up going down a path she never thought she'd be headed. Now, fast-forward almost 2 years later, after packing her things and running away without saying a word to anyone, Corrin's finally back in her hometown, Buront. The people she used to know are curious and want to know what exactly happened the night she left, but most importantly, why it's taken her so long to come back. The longer Corrin stays in town, the more the secrets of the past come back to haunt her and she realizes that she doesn't fully understand what happened either. Only 2 people know what really went down the night Corrin took off, and her lips are sealed.
