Makena is navigating life as she deals with mental health, sex, drugs, and misogynistic professors. She uses writing as an outlet to tell stories about what happens in her life. Through the art of storytelling, she discovers that she comes from a long line of witches and she discovers her abilities and also journey's through self-love and discovery.
