Emmaleena lost her sister exactly a year ago. She can't stop dreaming about her scream and finding Lanie in a pool of her own blood, lifeless. Leena remembers it like it just happened always trying to figure out what she could have done differently. 

Her parents gave her a year but it's time to go back to school. She is going to try and do her best to stay under the radar. Not wanting to be reminded about what happened by all the kids who will try and give their condolences.  

Soon she comes to find out that with just one touch she can see others memories. At first she isn't sure what's going on but after touching her best friend, Ava's, pair of earrings; she whisked away from her house to the lockers in the school hallway. Where she watches  Ava's boyfriend give her the earrings before being planted right back at her house.

Leena is learning how to control this new found power when she discovers this could help her finally find her sisters killer.
