What happens when the quirky girl meets the quiet boy? Brooklyn Scott, an average girl with an average life. She goes to school, works a few hours at the local diner, and then comes home. It was a simple life, one she was used to. That was about to change, and it all starts with a Sociology project. Sawyer Cruz, one word to describe him would be cold. His life, on the other hand, hasn't been so easy. Past trauma dealing with family issues caused him to become distant and withdrawn from the world. He rarely talks, if at all, and with the black clothes and hood constantly over his face; he practically screams the "Don't talk to me" vibe. So how do these two come to know each other? Well as I said before...it all starts with a Sociology Project.

They say if you give it a chance, life might just surprise you. Well guess what? I don't want anymore surprises. My life is so unpredictable, I can 90% of the time know what to expect. But you can't expect me to put up with that idiot. ...and then I have to make the stupidest mistake of my life. Those percentages switch around and I'm forced to put up with the idiot. Yay. Notice the sarcasm dripping richly from my voice. Dedicated to @thewritersleeps
