What happens when the quirky girl meets the quiet boy?

Brooklyn Scott, an average girl with an average life. She goes to school, works a few hours at the local diner, and then comes home. It was a simple life, one she was used to. That was about to change, and it all starts with a Sociology project.

Sawyer Cruz, one word to describe him would be cold. His life, on the other hand, hasn't been so easy. Past trauma dealing with family issues caused him to become distant and withdrawn from the world. He rarely talks, if at all, and with the black clothes and hood constantly over his face; he practically screams the "Don't talk to me" vibe.

So how do these two come to know each other? Well as I said before...it all starts with a Sociology Project.

Every Girl wants a bad boy to be good only for her and that's exactly what Hadley got. *** Hadley didn't think much of it when she couldn't make any friends in High School. She just brushed it off and lived her life without caring about it. Sure it would be nice to have a few friends but she guessed that she was just antisocial. Maybe there was more to it, maybe there was a cause to the underlying pain. Levi has had his eyes set on Hadley since middle school, never talking to her, never even let her catch him staring at her. When high school came around he wanted Hadley, and he did anything to keep her from harms way without her even noticing. She's naive, she didn't see it coming when he claimed her as his. **** "I don't like whats mine being touched! You should have know better.." He growled, I gasped at what he was saying." I worked too hard for some nobody to come take what I own away from me. I. Will. Not. Allow. It." Anger dripping from Levi's voice, nervousness raked through my body. His presence scares me and especially when a glint of mischief sparkled in his eyes. I went to grab Jake's arm to pull him away, I was snatched away from his reach to be put behind his back. He cracked his knuckles," I'm guessing you didn't realize your place just yet." And right before my eyes his fist connected with Jake's face. He turned toward me, my breath hitched in my throat."Your mine, your only mine. Do you understand Hadley?" Before I could stop myself." No, I'm not? I don't even know you." "But I know you." He leaned in and kissed my forehead. ________________ S I N C E. C O M P L E T E D. 4/28/18 Unedited 2023

Top 1 out of 11.1k books under "unique" | 06-07-20 | "Making my way downtown, walking fast, faces pass and I'm home-bound", Julian starts singing and I hear Brian groan. "I may be drunk but I still hate this!", he shouts. "Staring blankly ahead, just making my way, making my way through the crowd", my brother continues, ignoring Brian's protests. "Na, na, na, na, na, na, na. And I need you", Julian sings again. "Na, na, na, na, na, na, na. And I miss you", my brother backs him up again. "Na, na, na, na, na, na, na. And now I wonder", they both sing. "If I could fall into the sky", I sing along just for fun. "Do you think time would pass me by", Cole does the same and smiles and he and I laugh when we see that Brian was covering his ears. "Cause you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you..." We all sing- except Brian. I tap the dashboard, Cole taps the steering wheel while Julian and Randy pretends to play guitars. "Tonight", we finish- almost shouting and pretend to play our imaginary instruments. =•= Those are just moments of Ria and the boys hanging out. What kind of shenanigans could happen next? Ria Scott is a scholar in her newly transferred school. She may be a nerd, but her abilities to make immediate comebacks, to sass and to be sarcastic makes her have a strong character." Don't mess with the Nerd" and "I'd rather Sass than be as Arse" -Ria Scott. If you think that's all of it, nope. She is fiesty and friends with---BOYS! She prefers them than girl drama. Why? Because she's different. With these boys her brother, could she really avoid drama? [TW: This book contains sensitive topics that others may find uncomfortable to read]

Sage Gibson wasn't prepared for his whole existence to be uprooted and moved away. He didn't love his life, but that didn't mean he wouldn't miss it. Now he's in a small town where he pretends not to notice the looks some people give him. Maybe it's the painted finger nails? He doesn't care all that much. He's too busy trying to figure himself out and how much of his past is affecting him. With his family to worry about and his own personal puzzle that is his mind, he doesn't have time to care about what people at school think of him. He's happy enough with his one new friend and gawking at her hot brother. (He will never admit that last part out loud.) That's all he needs. And if said hot brother wants to become friends too? Well, he won't complain. Marc Yamasaki is normally a quiet guy. He doesn't like to talk too much and everyone has just accepted that. He doesn't have much to say, so why try? He's too tired of trying to get people to care. When a new boy shows up, suddenly his interest is piqued. The freckled face boy is good at basketball and he's a little cute. Sure, he likes to talk a lot, but Marc finds it oddly adorable. The only slight problem is his hesitation to join the team, and the fact that he might be flirting with Aria, Marc's sister. He can't tell if he wants to hate or like this guy. Then he finds out he's gay? Cherry on top. So, what happens when the two boys get closer while playing basketball? Their friendship gets to feeling a little... odd. What will they become when a new tension starts to settle over them?
