I screamed hoarsely, salt dripping into my mouth as I watched with blurred vision, as those teeth were practically wrapped around my middle finger.
"I apologise for what's about to happen," At first I was unsure who had spoken, a low gravelly tone, but it was that mouth that moved unnaturally, "But there's a good reason why you humans only ever see us surface during Easter."
There was a small moment of relative motionlessness, my heart was pounding so hard that it hurt to breathe, it's breathing was shallow and there were small bursts of unhinged laughter, "We get so hungry sometimes."

The Ballad of Crystl
I knew it... coming to this expedition was a big mistake. I don't want to die... what's worse is I might get eaten when I'm dead. Hopefully I won't get eaten alive. I'm just a common grim reaper. Why is this happening to me? There was blood everywhere and I was on the ground. The entire team was decimated by those traitors. Everybody I know in the squad is gone and my master has fallen. I can't move my body and all I could do was lie on the ground until the boss of the traitors approached me. He grabbed me and lifted me up as I approach death. For a god of death like me, dying is not a part of my résumé. Once a god dies, there is no reincarnation, there is no soul, and there is no second chance, just oblivion so... How did it end up like this?Complete
Decadent
My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete
Crimson Snow
Crys Snow has never felt like he belonged in his small southern town of White Chapel. His family sucks, he barely has any friends, and the other kids at school are terrified of him. He wants to matter to someone; anyone who can under the violent darkness he keeps hidden deep inside. He never expected that someone to be a serial killer. Falling for him is a mistake, but maybe, for the first time in his miserable life, this is what it feels like to be wanted. But love shouldn't taste like blood. Should it?
