I screamed hoarsely, salt dripping into my mouth as I watched with blurred vision, as those teeth were practically wrapped around my middle finger.
"I apologise for what's about to happen," At first I was unsure who had spoken, a low gravelly tone, but it was that mouth that moved unnaturally, "But there's a good reason why you humans only ever see us surface during Easter."
There was a small moment of relative motionlessness, my heart was pounding so hard that it hurt to breathe, it's breathing was shallow and there were small bursts of unhinged laughter, "We get so hungry sometimes."

But when the stall door swung open, the slouched figure that emerged was not sick-it was dead, with lifeless eyes and decaying flesh. I knew it... coming to this expedition was a big mistake. I don't want to die... what's worse is I might get eaten when I'm dead. Hopefully I won't get eaten alive. I'm just a common grim reaper. My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complet
He's My Secret (edited-ish)
He kept on staring at me but I ignored him, at least I tried to. He was sitting right beside me and although I was looking at the board I still could glimpse his form facing me, he seemed to be looking at my lips. I wasn't able to take it any more. I slowly turned to him, he was indeed staring at my lips. "What??" I ask feeling self cautious as I fought the thought of wiping off my mouth. He slowly licked his lips and said, " nothing" as he shook his head " your lips ... they just look so kissable" he added slowly and calmly after a while causing my heart to overreact, my eyes went wide and my mouth to turn into a forbidden smile. "What?" I asked as I tried to give him a weird look but I couldn't stop smiling, the forbidden smile seemed to be taking over my entire face, slowly but surely. This book is in the point of view (P.O.V) of the main character (first person) with an exception of chapter 1 which is told by the narrator (second person) { Book 2 - Revealing Secrets https://my.w.tt/bF5lujvGo2 } When this book was reviewed by yours truly it was summed up to 50 chapters. Flee the Forest(Horror story)
((This is targeted to people 16+)) The smell of blood was overwhelming. The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them. And so, these objects are stranded in an unfamiliar land, one without food, one without family, one without rules. In this land of zero contact, objects begin to starve, objects begin to go insane. Maybe it is up to a brave few objects to try to take control and limit the deaths and cannibalism. However, will they use their power for good? Or will they abuse it to the point of no return?
