The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. COLORS BEHIND THE GLASS ✓
(COMPLETED) I am Lonnie. I mentioned this, but my name is considerably confusing. A pair, both each other but neither. If I am the sunrise, how am I Lonnie all the same? I suppose I will indulge you to one lovely secret: I am always both. _______________________________________ Lonnie is just like any other person. Throughout this novel, they recall past events, putting each puzzle piece into place until the final image is revealed. While they are trying to make sense of the trauma they have been though, Lonnie meets new people along the way that shape them in both positive and negative ways. This inspiring story draws parallels between modern conflicts in society, and internal battles that we face in our lives. Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them.
