HIS BABY

"You thought that I wouldn't find you don't you. No one gets away from me." He said smirking moving closer to me.

"Maliek please don't do this to me." I begged hoping that he had changed to a better person since I had left. "Please am sorry." i added still begging him.

That still didn't stop him from walking towards me. He looked hell-bent on getting his hands on me which was never a good thing.

"After all these years I finally find you. How long did you think you coulda hide from me? Now I am going to teach you a lesson." He smiled the one that I was always afraid of. The one that makes me afriad of him.

I started to walk backwards from him until my back hit the wall. I can't let him corner me. I looked for a way out but he blocked my way to escape.

He out his big hands around my neck ready to choke the life out of me when I heard a little voice.
"Mommy?" my little angel called and I was scared for her. I heard her little feet hitting the steps. "Mommy. I had a nightmare. Can I come sleep with you."

Malik and I both turned our watched her come down the stairs rubbing her sleepy eyes. In his state of shocked and confusion he let's me go and I walked over to my little girl. I take her up and kiss her on the forehead.

"Mommy who is that?" she asked tucking herself tighter in my arms.

"Go back to sleep honey. It's just a friend." I told her. I looked up at Maliek and then made my way back upstairs to her room.

I put her back into her bed and tucked her in.i walked to the door ready to turn off the lights. "Mommy are you coming to bed?" she asked sleepily

"Yes I'll be up in a bit I have to tell my guess goodbye." I said and turned off the lights and went back downstairs.
