The wolves were condemned to their own bloodlines, no wolf can be made unless born, their only magic was reduced to what runs in their veins. And so nature found balance in the separation of the three worlds; blood drinkers, wolves, and humans. All will be well in the human lands again-- except curses cannot be created without a loophole. When centuries pass and the curses have taken its rightful control of the blood drinker and wolf species, the scales will finally tip in the favor of the humans.
