"You don't have to do this Meara! You are so much better than this! Just put it down!" He yelled. She shrugged.
"Save your pleading for someone who cares." Meara held it up and, pointing to where Grey was crouching, she pressed the trigger.

Calista Meara is just a Starfleet officer. But when she wakes up from a rather nasty bump on the head, the world around her has changed drastically. She appears to have woken up in an alternate universe with no apparent way to go home. And then time repeats back on itself and she's back where she began... Only this time she's had a taste of what could be and she's willing to do anything to make it happen.

"You really care about her, don't you?" Tom said, but the commander didn't answer. So Tom clarified his statement. "The Captain, I mean." "I have the utmost respect and admiration for Captain Janeway." Chakotay's response had been a long time coming. "Yeah, that too..." Tom threw in, as the tone of Chakotay's voice suggested the question had hit a little too close to home. Tom paused momentarily, mulling over what to say next or whether to keep his mouth shut. He put his hand on Chakotay's shoulder. "Commander, I could be wrong but, personally, I think you're holding out on false hope. If it was me, I'd want to know for sure. Maybe even push the point. Make a move. I mean, what's the worst case scenario here? Either she's going to phaser you, or she's going to..." "Consider yourself relieved, Lieutenant!" They both jumped, startled at the sound of her voice. Inwardly, Tom wondered how long the captain might have been standing behind him, while he tried to remember the last few words of his conversation with Chakotay. SYMBOLS or more informally "Why the heck Chakotay chose Seven of Nine when, previously, he wanted to throw her out the nearest airlock" is a work of fanfiction. It sticks to canon and is an ensemble piece, but focuses on Janeway and Chakotay predominantly. Paramount and Pocket Books own everything Star Trek - no copyright breaches intended. I just took the characters out for a play. Literary agent sent most of this to Pocket Books in 1998, but they didn't want it. I have a sweet rejection letter! So it's mine now. A couple of re-writes since then to relocate it in Season 7 and add Chapter 1 and the Epilogue. Heartfelt thanks to Mary Wood, Heather Harwood, Sara Creasy and Mary S (Duffydog) for the editing long ago. Book cover template from Graphic Springs. Feedback is always appreciated.

= 'You're my guardian angel, you know that?' He weaved his fingers in her hair and leaned down to kiss her. Despite the heavy smell of stale kanar on his breath, all she wanted right now was to press her lips to his, let his mouth devour her, have his hands run all over her body. She wanted to be his. But that was the issue right there: he could not be hers. = A new, slightly more cheerful version of the most underdog moment in known Cardassian history - the Rebellion. The OC is a young Bajoran woman who grew up among her captors. Despite everything, she not only considers the empire her home, she is also attracted to its inhabitants - a lot. As a graduate of a local military academy, she enlists as the secretary to the supreme commander: Gul Dukat himself... What could possibly go wrong, right? No need to be a fan of DS9 or ST to read: extensive footnotes included ♥ Three romances and a love triangle in a military environment with war going on (not just) in the background. Angst, smut, action, emotion, soulful romance. Some clean-up of facts and events and a lot of blanks filled to make the story served to us in the series more whole. Also containing a breathtaking screenshot of Damar ;) ♥ Warnings: explicit sex scenes, violence, language. Trigger warnings: in bold above chapters containing them. This is a Star Trek (Deep Space 9) fanfiction. The setting and most characters belong to Paramount Global & Gene Roddenberry. The original characters belong to me. Kind comments and civil constructive criticism always welcome ♥

When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

(A TFP Ratchet x femme reader fanfiction) A love they thought could never be broken. A love they both had since young bots in that small medical class so long ago back on Cybertron. ...A love that abruptly and unwillingly paused for them both. Ratchet felt that sharp pain every day since she offlined hit him deep in the spark, making it almost impossible to breathe. Yet he pushed through, for her. She was gone, and the sparkbond they shared was the only thing that kept him connected to her even though it caused him so much mental and physical pain. Until he impulsively cut it off one day, as his mental health couldn't take the memories that came back to keep him grieving every single day. It hurt him to finally say goodbye, but he needs to let her go so she can Rest in Peace. The bond was erased as Ratchet felt the pain slowly deteriorate away, leaving a forever empty hole in his spark as his lubricated tears leaked down the sides of his cheekplates. It doesn't help that soon into the future, Ratchet will realize just how big of a mistake he made when his supposed offlined sparkmate comes back into his life. Having erased the sparkbond while his lover was in deep stasis, she couldn't file the bond and so her one true love was erased from her processor in an instant. Left with regret for his selfish decisions, Ratchet has one adjective: Make her fall in love with him all over again. After all, there's always an alternative to a negative. - "Irreplaceable...irreplaceable you." Ratchet muttered through his gargled speech, wiping his optics for the millionth time that night. The medbay was silent throughout the still night. It always was. But he knew if she was here she'd be so vividly loud with just her smile it was enough to paint the walls with such euphoria. He clenched his spark as it started to act up just by the thought of her smile. It hurt. But it was worth it. -Started 3/19/21- -Completed 6/23/22-

"But it was not my fault," she sobbed, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her face. She couldn't believe that one mistake, one misfortune that wasn't truly hers, would become the reason for their separation. The weight of his words crushed her. "It was Priya. It was your fault," he thundered, his eyes blazing with anger and hurt. "I used to love you, but the pain you gave me today is enough to make me hate you." His words cut deep, piercing her heart like a dagger. She felt her world shattering, her dreams crumbling. She had longed to express her feelings, to tell him how much she loved him, but now it seemed futile. Yet, she couldn't hold back. "But I love y-you," she stammered, her voice barely audible. She hoped against hope that her confession would change something, that it would make him stay. However, his response was like a slap in the face. "Too late to give us a chance," he said, his voice cold and detached. "I'll never love you again." He slammed his fist against the wall, the sound echoing through the room like a death knell. With that, he turned and left, leaving her shattered and alone. The door creaked shut behind him, symbolizing the end of their relationship. She collapsed to the floor, her tears mingling with despair. Why had fate conspired against them? Why had one misunderstanding destroyed their love? The questions swirled in her mind like a vortex. As she wept, memories flooded her thoughts - laughter, whispers, and promises. All lost now, forever tainted by the pain of his rejection. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Priya Mathur × Krithik Rajawat ~#Prithik#~ Don't copy anything!!
