I Know We're Not in a Drama
[Do you know how I know we're not in a drama?] Wei WuXian wrote while flopped on his bed and thoroughly enjoying the cool air wafting over his body. [Carolyn brought in sodas, water, and iced teas today, and you just drank your tea like a normal person.] He pressed the back button a few times on his tv remote and rewatched the male lead of this particular drama drink from his water bottle. The camera shot was definitely set up as a thirst trap: the lighting created almost a mini-halo around his head, condensation dripped off the bottle, and the way the actor held the bottle up high, exposing the length of his throat and bobbing Adam's apple? It set the female lead, and probably female viewers, drooling. [How else does one drink iced tea?] Lan WangJi responded a few minutes later. [You obviously don't watch enough dramas to not know what the ML looks like when he's drinking from a bottle.] [That assumes the object of my affection works with me, was there watching me, and I wished to seduce him. I'd also have to ensure the label faces the camera and wasn't blocked by my fingers. That's simply too much effort to go into drinking something while on a short break at work.] *** Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi are roommates in college. then colleagues at work. They are definitely not Main Leads acting in a drama. As evidenced by what does not happen to them.Завершенная история

Kunlun Mountain Part 2 - The Masters Disciple.
A fan fiction based on the Tv Drama series Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms using the main characters I'm not sure how far into the story I will go with this one yet, but it will lightly follow the story line of the Drama, rather than the book. Though there will be a few major changes and diversions, I will try to keep this story to the drama as much as possible. Enjoy the story :-) Three Lives Three Worlds. 3310. 三生三世十里桃 and the book To the Sky Kingdom *Disclaimer* So, I guess it goes without saying, but for those who need to read it for themselves, then here is is. The main characters are from the drama series Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, I do not own any part of their characters, the story or the drama, the rest is a complete figment of my imagination. Any similarity to a real person or event, is purely coincidental.Завершенная история
My BL Lists - Favourite Series, Favourite Movies, Favourite Actors
Some people love lists, and I am one of them. So I decided to share my BL lists with anyone who might be interested. There are 5 lists at the moment. The lists of my all-time favourite BL series and movies have open endings, i.e. I'll add more series and movies whenever I've watched something that I think belongs in these lists. The ranking of series and movies (0 to 10, with 10 being the top rank) isn't meant to be objective - it rather reflects my subjective perspective. The series and movies lists are meant to help newcomers to the genre of BL find some hints what may be worth watching, or what I think have been milestones in the development of the genre. For those familiar with the genre, it may be an opportunity to remember some of the highlights of Boyslove productions. I will attach a trailer or a short video clip to each entry, so if you want you can extend your journey a little. The lists of my favourite actors (Thai, Filipino, Taiwanese, Japanese, and others) are limited to 20 persons each, which means that every time a new actor enters the list, another one has to be dropped. This hurts me every time it happens, but wattpad doesn't allow more than 20 pictures per chapter. To avoid this, I may divide some of the "favourite actors lists" into two or three parts. Please don't hesitate to comment on my choices and add your own ideas. Enjoy. Dominic
When The Bud Blooms - sequel to Our Blooming Youth (journey to the Palace)
About eight months ago, I met two characters who spoke to me. Their relationship was based on trust, friendship and an incredible attraction to each other that went beyond the physical, and I could see how they would evolve just because of that foundation years down the line. This story carries forward the story of Yi Hwan and Min Jay Yi from the Korean TV series "Our Blooming Youth". I had severe withdrawal symptoms once the series ended. I wanted to keep travelling with them. I wanted to know how they developed. I was eager to uncover the transformation from uncertainty ('maybe') to astonishment ('OMG! It's real!') and the ensuing chaos of "WTF do I do now?" What did the path forward look like for Min Jay Yi and Yi Hwan, as they made their personal journey through their one year of separation? I felt this was a story that was needed to be told. It was as important to the growth of their relationship as a couple as it was when they bonded over common goals and promised to always be at each other's side. So here is Yi Hwan and Min Jay Yi's journey from the day of the battle to their life in the Palace. (Disclaimer: The scriptwriters clearly defined the characters, and I borrowed them. The rest of the story is original.) For those who might not want to watch the series but still would like reading, my suggestion is to read through @alathe's incredible recaps in DB here: https://www.dramabeans.com/2023/02/our-blooming-youth-episodes-1-2/ Of course, nothing like actually watching the series, because that's where this was born. It's on Viki and Amazon Prime (in some countries)
