Meine Geschichte? Die Kurzfassung: Ich bin eine Vampirin. Ich bin etwas anders als andere meiner Gattung und das ist auch der Grund warum ich Jagt auf sie mache! 

Mein Ziel? Den Kerl zu finden und zu töten der mich vor 50 Jahren gegen meinen Willen zum Vampir gemacht hat! Bis dahin töte ich jeden Vampir der mir vor mein Messer kommt, all jene die es verdienen zu sterben!

I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. To think of it,it was too quiet around here I then proceeded to go upstairs to my room as I know my brother has soccer practise and my dad is at work. I walked upstairs and passed my father's office and I heard some talking I then heard laughing,a woman laughing to be specific "Scott stop!" She laughed once again And i knew that,that was not my mother's voice. My heart broke when I realised my dad didn't actually love my mother. He was a cheater and after this i lost all respect for him. I stood outside the door for a good 10 minutes debating whether I should storm In there or just keep quiet about the whole thing. The laughing and talking went on and I decided it would be best if I walked away. Tears threatened to fall as I went to my bedroom. I actually looked up to my father. He was my superman. He got himself a good job,a beautiful wife,and started a beautiful family...only to find out it was all a lie. Is his wife even his wife? Are we even his children? Mandy Sciara. That's my name. I'm just one of the many common American girls in Atlanta. Do I have hobbies? Only if daydreaming counts as one, then yes, I have a hobby. But this time it's different. But the mysterious jet-black haired guy with the penetrating, amber eyes wasn't someome unfamiliar. I had already seen him somewhere.. but what do I know him from again? Then there's Sam, apparantly his older cousin - the wiser one with the better intensions. At least, that was my first impression.. FYI: English is not my native language. I'm Dutch. The following story is the result of a game I played with a fellow writer, a fan of Fantasy and Manga. Basically, I offered to email him the beginning of a story. He would write the next part and send it back to me. I would write the next part, send it, and so on. But he didn't have enough time to take part in this little game. I then suggested that we write a story in the form of a serial and send the parts to each other by e-mail, once a week, for two months. My plan was to turn it into a summer mini-series. Caught up in the story, this attempt lasted through autumn, and winter, and was finished in spring. So, my first thanks go to you, Jeremy. I'd also like to thank the most diligent critic of my writing: Renault. Your corrections and comments were very relevant and were a great help. I hope that I will, at long last, be able to buy you a drink and discuss it with you face to face. As we haven't seen each other for more than five years, we probably won't even recognise one another anymore. Through my writing I have had the privilege of meeting a lot of different people, from all walks of life, but mostly waiters and waitresses in the (far too) numerous Brussels cafés, Exki, Pain Quotidien, and others, where I write, as well as the hotel staff in the Novotel, where I was living. I thank all of you for your kindness and the interest you showed in my stories. Writing is a solitary process, but has its rewards.
