Year 1993. Marlene DeAmphtos, a detective in the small town of Greenville, South Carolina. One day she gets a phone call with a message of strange content. Over 20 years ago, a girl disappeared, she was never found, so she was declared dead. Nobody knew her name, so she was called a girl with a yellow skirt, as she always wore it. Every time she answered the phone, she heard the voice of a child saying a number or letter.
