Eighlynn is part of The Guard, a society of hidden individuals with powers considered non-human. These people spend their lives protecting the human race, and in return, have to hide their true selves. Fair trade. Or not.

Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She forgot her old life, including her name. Rylie Garner paraded as Light Glider around his city-their own personal superhero-escaping being caught with the help of his friends while trying to find his little supernatural sister, who was taken.
