Bella's POV....
I dream of running in a meadow of green grass that reaches up to my waist. There is a small, cool, breeze. It comforts me, I feel relaxed, I've never been so comfortable. On one side of the meadow there is a creek, and in the other sides there are pine trees. In the far left corner, from my prospective, is a small raspberry bush. I run to the bush and find that the berries are ripe. The are huge, the size of my mum's thumb. I miss mum. I feel a tap on my shoulder and whip my head around.......Dad?

When no one talks to you anymore or even sees you, you wonder, what's the point? I could move after high school, I could start over, but it wouldn't change anything. I would still be that awkward girl. The one that hides in the shadows to stay out of people's way. I always sit in the back corner near the window in the classroom. I like to look outside toward the woods, especially when it's raining and the raindrops trail down the window. I watch their path from the top and all the way down to the bottom where they disappear. On a stormy night a young lady notices a fight among wolves and intervines with her bow and arrow and everything stems from there. As I sit up and squint to see what it could possibly be bad another lightening flashes, I see quick movements. This is book one of the series. Jordan shifts slightly in my lap so she can see my face. "Liam, I want you to mark me." She bluntly states and exposes her neck to me, so I can mark her. A wave of confusion comes over me and I tilt my head looking at her. "Are you sure that is what you want?" I look at her neck where my mark should be and feel my canines extending. Jordan simply smiles and nods her head. I readjust our bodies, so she is underneath me. I lean down and softly kiss her lips. The kiss burns my lips and not in the normal mate bond way. I pull away and rub my lips trying to get the sensation to go away. Jordan stares at me with her eyes squinted. I look her over and see nothing short of the perfect mate I am used to, however, something isn't right. Jordan pulls me down closer to her and starts leaving little kisses all over my body. Every place her lips touch immediately burns. I push her away and move towards the bottom of the bed. She sits up and moves to come closer to me. I move away again. "Liam, don't you want to mark me? Don't you want this?" Jordan looks at me pouting. This is when I realize what is going on. I smile and move to her. "Of course, I want to my queen," I coo at her and grab her wrists and pin them behind her head. My hands are burning from touching her, but I fight through it.
