Long ago, there was a war between the demons and angels. It lasted for 2 years. Many humans were lost in the otherworldly battle. They say it would have lasted longer, if not for the Arc Elders. They created a weapon to fight the dragonoids. No one knows what happened to the angels or where they went, but they are assumed to have died. Now, humans are very few in a couple villages separated by distance. The Arc Elders now rule them all but are they as good as they put themselves out to be?
Life started out as normal for Joji Cross. He lived with his sister and mother in a little village on a sea cliff. He enjoyed life there. All was well until his sixteenth birthday when he inherited his birthright: that is his draconian genes from a distant ancestor. Upon discovering this, his village abandoned him for fear of his powers. Little does he know that he is the key to ending a millennial war between good and evil.

Tensura: Melting the Eternal Frost
This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard is missing a lot of characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats from the original light novel, meaning some arcs will get glossed over if there are little changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates because I tend to reread chapters and notice minor mistakes here and there. Also, it goes without saying that I do not own the series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.' Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.

Long ago 555 years ago a great disaster stroke Earthland. Nearly all life was destroyed those years ago between the battle of good and evil. This war broke out with dark, evil and unknown creatures that could turn other races dark and evil along with them. Low level and class creatures were killed by normal weapons but Class C and higher were only killed by ten great weapons made so long ago. Those weapons were the Fairies Gifts. Long ago 561 years ago a young Fairy along with the Queen of Fairies and the Queen of Dragons came up with the idea of making the Fairies Gifts, great weapons that could pure and heal the turned people and kill the high class creatures. These weapons were made in a long six year battle with the weapons with the same welders who all joined together in the Fairy Gift team as the weapons had their own thoughts, voices and lifes. The weapons were picky and would chose their welders as they ended up picking all Fairies as their original welders. One second they was winning the war with evil until that great disaster. After 555 years some parts of races like elves, demons, angels, nekos, humans, dragons were able to live the one race that truly got wiped out in that event was the Fairies themselves. Small parts of these races lived. 555 years and six cities were made with powerful magic shields, fighters and mages to protect them. No one really knew what happened so many years ago but with what parts of history everyone knew they blamed Fairies for letting or even helping evil win but what happened when the new welders find a crystal with a person trapped in it? Rules are stated that if a human finds out about you, you must kill that human. Somehow he couldn't do it, though this girl is rude to him, she doesn't believe him, so there would be no point. The day after an ordeal happens which causes Dazod to have to stay in the human dimension and having to protect Esme... even if he didn't want to at first.
