Emrys finds herself falling. Not for someone but on them. After walking home late one night, she is suddenly and mysteriously transported to another world. As she literally falls from the sky, she lands on the crown prince Rueben. Rueben takes her in without much question, hoping that she can help him and especially his younger brother, Beck, loosen up.
With her background in accounting and finance, Emrys takes a job working on the kingdom's finances and breaking down barriers left and right without meaning to. Her sailor's mouth often gets the better of her, but that's what makes people trust her; she doesn't beat around the bush.
As Emrys and Beck get closer, things seem to be going well throughout the kingdom. But with peace slipping through the cracks as the neighboring kingdoms band together, will Emrys find herself in the middle of a war zone?
