Slade, a 15 year old boy left behind as a new born, receives a letter from his family. The letter, containing an invitation to his home and a ticket for travel, changes his life. There's just one thing yet to be mentioned...
He was left behind as a newborn so he could grow up with people his own size. You see, Slade is from a family of giants. Slade was born with a uncommon but well known illness that made him a 'Crippled Giant'. A 'Crippled Giant' is taller than any human could be, but that's still nothing. To his family, Slade would be the length of your middle finger.
So, Slade is meeting his family for the first time in 14 years, and he's the size of one of their fingers. Talk about tough...
