Opal is the familiar of the Wizard of her town, but she doesn't appear to have any magical abilities. It's really starting to bug her, and getting made fun of by other familiars isn't helping. However, at the first location of stopping during what will probably be a long trip, she finds a very mysterious shard. What is it, and why do her powers only seem to work on it?
