From your hand, anything can be stolen.
From your destiny, nothing.

With a complexion darker than the darkest nights and, a voice sweeter than honey, he was the most charming youth anyone had seen.

Children and animals of all kinds were his frequent companions. His untamed curls would sway under the breeze, a smile on his lips as he spent his days under the sun, plucking fruits from trees, running around and playing his flute.

But all was not happy as it seemed. His beloved, his Radha, had strayed far from him. She had turned her back on him, grieving with her broken heart all by herself.

For her, he was just a frivolous flute player, a temporary guest in her house.

For him, she was a part of him. Just like the many others, she, too, was precious for him.

#2 in YOU series UTKARSHxSAKSHI "What happened last night cannot happen again. Last night was a mistake. You are my sister's best friend and a lot younger than me." He muttered pacing back and forth only in his boxers running a hand in his already messed up hair. "You are a coward. You love me, you want me. I can see it in your eyes every time you look at me but you still won't accept me." I yelled frustrated still wrapped in his sheets. "How can you say it was a mistake when we fucked so many times last night." I wiped my tears and stood up in all my naked glory and walked up to him. "A mistake is done once not so many times like we did last night." ------- "You make me the happiest person ever, Sunshine. I'm so lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for not giving up on me." He kissed my temple and held me close. "I love you more, Tiger. I would never give up on you. You are it for me. You are never getting rid of me." I grinned kissing him on the jaw. "You and your weird nicknames." He chuckled, running his nose down mine. ------- "Why can't you just listen to me?" I yelled frustrated as tears streamed down my face. "I can't live like this anymore. Being with you feels like I'm in a prison that I could never get out of. I feel suffocated in this relationship, Utkarsh." As soon as my words hit he gasps. "You don't mean that, sunshine." His voice is barely above a whisper. "Please tell you don't mean it, you just said it out of anger." He pleaded is face full of anguish. "I mean it Utkarsh." I mumbled. Tears glistened his eyes as he stared at me with heartbreak written all over his face. I couldn't let him weaken my resolve, wiping my tears away I took a deep breath before saying the words that are going to be the hardest that I've ever spoken. ------ Join Utkarsh Rajvansh and Sakshi Kapoor in their journey of finding love.

Silvery water rained over us, drenching us in the embrace of the moonless night. Each droplet felt like cold punishment as it slid down, creating patterns on my skin. The yellow glow of the streetlight shone over his face. My eyes trailed the droplets sliding through his stubble and dripping down his white shirt, turning it translucent in the heavy rain. But he stood in front of me with his hands in his pockets as if this pouring rain and chill in the bones were mere inconveniences he didn't bother to acknowledge. The metro rumbled above us reminding me of the stretching silence and the fact that I was transfixed by the droplets tracing his body. "You didn't answer my question." He spoke with a hint of lightness in his voice. This was not good. This lightness. It was better when we fought. It made me forget the effect he had on me. "I don't think that's any of your business, you jerk," I said, desperately looking around for an auto. My kurta was sticking to my skin a little bit too much for my liking. "What I think," he said, stepping closer, "is that it's high time you start calling me by my name." The wind howled and I blamed my goosebumps on the harshness of this cruel weather. A much safer choice. "Oh really, what should I call you? Monkey? Annoying fly in my life?" I looked at him folding my hands in front. "You can start by calling me yours." __________ Riya had crafted her world around her with utmost care and love. Tending each relationship to flourish and protecting them fiercely from every storm. The peace and comfort of her surroundings started becoming murky bit by bit when things started slipping out of her hand and her carefully crafted world fell in front of the man she despised.

[This story doesn't go along the lines of the Mahabharata, not even initially. I have just borrowed the main characters and a few ideas from Ved Vyasa ji...] Certain incidents in his life tell Arjuna that he is 'special' indeed. However, as a new friend, an extremely special girl, especially to him, enters his life, things seem to revolve more around her than around him, and Arjuna thinks that maybe this special friend of his is the real gem of the tale. As they grow up together, Arjuna realises that her existence must be kept a secret from almost everyone out there; and also the fact that she happens to be the single most beautiful creature to have ever walked the Earth. However, as their friendship strengthens and matures into more, he discovers that she is probably more special than he initially thought, with regards to a mystery regarding her birth. But the young prince has much more of the world to see... Much more than just knowing that everything that's called magical and divine, is most probably just another unknown to the common man. Does the mystery of her birth involve him too? Can a common friend that they find in an enigmatic youth help them out of this labyrinth that is their lives..? WARNING: Many characters, taken from the Great epic, will be shown in a totally different light in this story. Kindly do not consider any one as a deity or anything such. The more realistic and raw sides of walking-talking humans, who are no Divine beings, and do have their own share of negativities within themselves, are shown in this book.

Everything changed the day the King ordered me to seduce his son and bring him back to the Kingdom. He was my best friend. As per the order of things, a Yuvraj cannot befriend a Commoner girl. But we were. He was anything but nice and helpful to me, and in return, I betrayed him. The betrayal ran deep, costing him the trust of the last of his friends. I saw him becoming cruel. The man who struggled to kill a deer in the Gurukul sliced throats and smiled right in front of me. His anger was scary, and the scariest part was the redemption of what I did to him. "You shall marry me," his words were clear, emotionless. "I am getting married. My fiancé is waiting outside for me, Abhinan," I tried to say, but he clenched his jaw. "My father asked you to do something for me, and in return, I shall do something for him, too. He is on his deathbed, and his last wish is to see his grandchild. Since you are closer to him, you must do this," he almost ordered, and I took a step back, shaking my head. "Are you out of your mind? I am an adopted daughter of your Guruji. Nobody knows my family, my bloodline, my caste or my community. The throne will never accept me; your father will be tormented," I said, and he stepped closer. "Well, that's why you are perfect for it. I shall make sure that even after seeing his grandchild, he will never rest in peace," he exclaimed and took me from there. *** The story is set in the 17th Century. When only the Princesses were meant to sit beside the King on the Throne, Trisha transformed herself to become Trishalini, the most loved Queen in history. There was no bed of roses in the early days, but she ensured the people in her kingdom slept on them. Amidst the guilt, anger and redemptions bloomed a forbidden, dark love story of King Abhinandan and Trishalini, aka Trisha.
