Lee Laelia loves to analyse and observe, collecting habits of strangers she encounters. She adores how the old lady always asks for three peonies in her order at the local flower shop or how the homeless man near the station plays with a coin everytime he goes to talk with someone. For her, those little visual repetitions are like music notes in a partition, a way for her to understand someone like an open book.

But there is one that entices all of her attention: the anonymous client at her boring cashier job.
He is an enigma of mechanical movements and no display of emotion. He is a moving and living question mark, the shadow of a human in the electrical lights of the shopping mall he appears and disappears like a ghost.

He is a mystery for Laelia, an interesting one indeed but what will happen when she will get caught under the feathers that is the secret of his being.
