Hiccup finds a clan of gargoyles in the forest (on his way to feed toothless) and takes them back to the village to convince his father to let them stay(They all have medallions to let them stay flesh during the day), along the way he finds out he has more to him than meets the eye. (This is all before the fight with the red death )
