Introduces lead female character Ayana, who is human but possesses magical powers. Ayana reveals how she had been running away since she was young from the creatures that killed her parents and were after her too. She had now stopped running and joined the most powerful academy that fights the evil creatures, the hybrids, to see if she can get any clues as to who she is and why these creatures are after her. She meets Han there, the ruler of the academy and most powerful fighter to ever exist, and despite her initial suspicions and apprehension, she grows to trust him unable to resist his charms and the magnetic attraction she felt for him as they spent more time with each other fighting several battles to find the truth. Han saved Ayana’s life several times, and she felt like she had known him a long time. Since they kissed, they felt almost a magic bond form between them, unable to resist each other and being part. Ayana felt herself falling in love, but she still couldn’t reveal to Han who she was or her abilities to perform magic and sense people’s aura. When she finds out that her parents were an Original and Han had withheld this from she felt torn, and hearing about Han’s dark past and seeing him perform magic all added to her confusing feelings, not knowing who to trust and whether Han really cared about her or if he was after her for the reasons the creatures were. She must find out soon if she can trust Han and test her magical abilities beyond anything she has done before as she prepares to face the killer that is after her.

As the sun vanished the world was thrown into chaos, vampires had taken over.. With the take over they hadn't realized that this could possibly be the downfall of their race, especially when they discovered their mates in humans or even changed humans. An anomaly had started to appear in some of those that were either created or born. It had created what Vampires and humans had started to call Hybrids. Some vampires started to take action against the hybrids where others saw no issue until a new King rose to the throne. This king held a few secrets of his one, one being his Queen was a hybrid: the very thing he detested and the very thing she was. The other was one that not even his Queen knew, so when she was allowed to leave the kingdom to go in search of one of her sisters that very secret would soon be revealed to her. If the vampires were allowed to ride the world of the hybrids, that would also mean the end of the human races, if the hybrids that had soon formed a rebellion against the tyrant ruler succeeded in overthrowing the king it would be the end of the secrets that he had been hiding for several decades. If the rebellion won would they order the end of the vampires or would they learn to coexist. Either way one way or the other the world was about to change once again. Maybe someday someone would be able to bring the sun back, for now that wasn't something anyone was thinking about. #ONC2022 Prompt #19 The sun goes out and no one knows why, just as no one can say for certain how life on earth is able to carry on without the life giving necessities of its star.
